Over Khalida
Khalida is opgegroeid
in België en woont op dit moment in Duitsland. Ze heeft een achtergrond in
ballet en jazzdance en
kwam in Nederland in contact met haar eerste buikdans leraressen Myriam en
Yamila ("Stichting
Dans van de Morgenstond") die haar inspire
erden en motiveerden om zich
steeds verder in deze dansvorm te verdiepen. Later werd ze uitgenodigd om deel te nemen aan de opleiding voor Professionele Buikdanseressen/ Leraressen in Eindhoven, die ze in 2007 met onderscheiding afsloot.
Eind 2007 won ze de eerste plaats in Leyla Jouvana's 'Bellydancer of the World' wedstrijd en danste ze in de Galavoorstelling van het 15e Oriental Festival in Duisburg, één van de grootste buikdansfestivals van Europa.(zie foto)
Door haar uitgesproken techniek, muzikaliteit en podiumpresence is Khalida in korte
tijd uitgegroeid tot een graag geziene
gastdocente en danseres, zowel lokaal als internationaal.
Ze blijft zich voortdurend bijscholen door o.a. het volgen van workshops en laat zich inspireren door gerenommeerde docenten/danseressen zoals Aziza uit Canada/USA en Orit Maftsir uit Israel. In 2009 organiseerde ze samen met Razia (USA) en Artemisia (BE) de eerste RAKS Intensive Summerschool in Leuven, BE.
De afgelopen jaren was Khalida te gast als jurylid tijdens Leyla Jouvana en Rolands 'Bellydancer of the World Contest' en de Benelux Bellydance Championships. Ze was tevens te zien als gastdocente/danseres op verschillende internationale buikdansfestival, o.a. in Nederland, Duitsland, Belgie, Zweden, Griekenland, Engeland en Polen.
Khalida biedt op dit moment masterclasses, privéles
sen en performance coaching aan, voor solisten
en groepen, plus reguliere lessen in Duitsland en internationale workshops.
Tot haar specialiteiten
behoren podiumpresentatie,
klassieke en moderne orientaalse dans/raks sharki, dansen
met zills,
orientaalse ritmes, improvisatietechnieken,
sluier, dubbelsluier, isis wings en tromsolos
